Welcome to Generation Media or (Fake News)?!?

‘Our governments tend to be unadventurous and lazy, taking ideas off the British rack and implementing them here with some kind of local twist. This is how we got JobPath, which is based on Britain’s Workfare, which itself is based on an American model designed by corporate entities’ Eamonn Kelly at 4:06 pm July 10, 2017, “BROADSHEET” view full article here Jobpath And The Reality Of ‘Employment Activation’

My next minimalist challenge is Project 333? ‘The idea behind Project 333 is simple: Wear only 33 articles of clothing for the next 3 months’ 🤔 It is a bucket list work in progress 😉

So I watched a really interesting documentary on minimalism yesterday evening. Living a minimalist lifestyle can have positive health benefits both mentally and physically. I am not a hoarder but I have too much stuff so after the program I cleared out lots of stuff and handed it into the SVP this morning 😊

I am, by my nature, a very disciplined addictive person. My disciplined nature does however ‘luckily’ outweigh my ‘addictive alter ego’ 🤔’Me thinks’? and I have been lucky and well grounded with the friends I have met in my unstable life😏 💚

I am diverting from my Seetec annoyance to have some ‘philosophical reasoning with myself in the meaning of human happiness in life’🤔?  Seetec and its governance is a real annoyance for me as it is very much based on a merit and reward scheme that is advantageous only for (as far as I can understand) ?? the privatized employer who pass on rewards on a commission incentive to their employees on the basis of how long their recruiters remain in employment (oops don’t get me started) within their designated employment destinations?

I am having a lovely minaminalistic evening to recycle my life 🍃

‘I, Daniel Blake’ is a social conscience story.

“Quotes from the movie”

‘They call this a paupers funeral because it is the cheapest plot’

“I am not a client, a customer or a service user”

“I am not a sherpher, a scrounger, a begger or a thief”

“I am not a national insurance number”

“I paid my dues never a penny short”

There is more … but watch the movie for yourself if you are a like minded person.  Night?

‘I, Daniel Blake’: The trailer for Ken Loach’s Palme d’Or-winner – video. Seetec/Job Path

‘Gruff but goodhearted, Daniel Blake (Dave Johns) is a man out of time: a widowed woodworker who’s never owned a computer, he lives according to his own common sense moral code. But after a heart attack leaves him unable to work and the state welfare system fails him, the stubbornly self-reliant Daniel must stand up and fight for his dignity, leading a one-man crusade for compassion that will transform the lives of a struggling single mother (Hayley Squires) and her two children. Graced with humor and heart, I, Daniel Blake is a moving, much-needed reminder of the power of empathy from one of the world’s greatest living filmmakers’ (rotten tomatoes film reviewers) link rotten tomatoes

Seetec/Job Path, the new privatized Social Welfare body in Ireland since 2016, is a U.K. Social Welfare facilitating company which was founded in 1984.  The organisation and employees in Seetec, from my research studies, follow a rewards/commissioned based system where a bonus is paid when unemployed people are registered with the Company and another reward/bonus is applied if the P.A. (personal assistant) is successful in finding employment for their assigned unemployed clients (subjects springs to my mind?).  To date having googled Dail Debates, newspapers articles and a variety of forums, as well as speaking with someone who has been put through the system I can find nothing positive about this agency but it is open for objection discussion here.

My personality leans towards negativity in life issues. I consistently annoy people by saying ‘sorry’. I agree that it must be very irritating to others 😖 This is not an on purpose quest on my part and in true form I am apologizing now also 🤥

Thank you Shoshana for sharing this video.  I am a constant work in progress but I do find the political obstacles and cronyism decisions annoying but then I think to myself, we all have family tragedies and suffer in a variety of ways and I am happy to be an individual humanitarian being in life in tune with nature (oop’s no emoji to define my meaning of happiness) ? and I confess I quite like those little fellows ? so I must be semi-emoji institutionalized? But on the other hand emoji’s are not unlike are ancient ancestry artists either??

I am diverting from my job seeking journey tonight. My beloved son, Sean, describes me as a constantly changing ‘phase in the motion of life’ persona type🍃🍁🌻

I am a very analytically/emotionally charged person in life and only my close friends, old and new, who I have been so fortunate to meet in my life understand my odd personality😐.  Truly it confuses me also (and more so now in my later life).  To be honest to myself I may be unemployable because I tend to impulsively speak my opinion which is not considered acceptable in a society that is so structured 🤔

The key-ring is a gift from times long past from my beloved belated sister Mary whom in my opinion was too precious for this world but she is still whispering in my ear for sure 💚

‘Why do we treat our older people so badly? Jacky Jones: Society benefits from them yet older people do not get the services they need’😥

At the age of 53 I don’t feel old and in fact I am normally blissfully unaware of my age 🤣 but whilst actively looking for employment in the last year I feel very aware of the reality of my age which confuses my odd body clock in living my life happily in age bliss ignorance 🤔

According to Jacky Jones in her article the Irish Times

‘More than half of people over 50 years of age living in Ireland have experienced ageism. There is convincing evidence that when older people experience age-related discrimination they internalise these negative views, feel older and less capable and are less likely to look after themselves’.
Satirically speaking this Monty Python clip sums it up for me living in Ireland today as a 53 year old person:

I do not understand the Seetec and Turas Nua’s agenda as being a ground breaking new idea for unemployment rates and the name changing is also a concern for me as to the expense of non-difference in my novice opinion?

On another note Leo Veradkar in a recent article about his new workers social protection remits? leaves a lot of unanswered questions as he says they are too sensitive for public awareness?  What does this mean??? Leo Varadakar answers to recent social protection statistics

The Department of Social Protection have a long history of recreating social welfare employment bodies to maintain the ‘class’ status quo in society🤔 So now we have Seetec and Jobpath?? and Turas Nua??? Now I have admitted in an earlier post to be easily confused 🤣

Okay 🤔 Manpower, AnCo, Fas, what came after Fas?  Am I bothered? Intreo, Seetec/Jobpath and Turas Nua? So my job prospects over 50 are looking like the Monty Python song now “Always look on the bright side of life” and their synonymous phrase ‘bring out your dead’😨
